Worms World Party Review
July 23, 2005 by Kyle by Kyle - July 23, 2005 The previously known Worms has returned for their latest game yet, Worms World Party. Worms World Party combines the previous gameplay and entertainment with newer technology and excitement. Many modes have been included into Worms World Party. Its game modes include Single Game Deck, Multiplayer, and N-Gage Arena, each carrying separate selections inside. Overall the graphics in Worms World Party were better than I would have expected on the N-Gage. I could see the picture fine with the detail it held. There are no animated scenes to watch except for watching your opponent aim and fire their weapons. Worms World Party could have included a little more detail in the scenery but each level was brightly colored. For an animated imaginary game, Worms World Party nailed the right approach. For those of you unfamiliar with the Worms, they are very entertaining as they converse with each other. Certain phrases like Look out soldier and You missed from the opposing team gave me a good laugh. Along with the lines, the tone and pitch of voice they use add to the humorous effect. While playing Worms World Party, I couldnt get enough of it. Worms World Party requires a bit of skill to learn and patience to obtain it. While firing weapons, finding the perfect angle with the right force was constantly changing as the wind changed direction. With Worms World Party being on the N-Gage it was more versatile with your playing availability. If you have to leave, you can just pause it and take it with you for wherever youre headed. Worms World Party has a good variety in options. Whether you want to play a basic game or take the challenge of sudden death, its all there. For a different approach, Worms World Party includes a mission mode where you make your way across the level to defeat your opponent who is taking shots at you.
To wrap things up Worms World Party is a great game to just pick up whenever youre bored. I could just come home in the afternoons, grab the N-Gage and play either a mission or regular game. Either way, its addictive and simple gameplay is something most gamers will find entertaining, and it comes highly recommended to N-Gage owners. |
