Game Informer Reveals October Issue
Xbox 360 | September 10, 2009 9:18 am

And it's none other then the Xbox 360 exclusive, Crackdown 2. Developed by Ruffian Games in the grand country of Scotland. With a release date that is still yet to be revealed, Game Informer did some digging and found out about a few new details for its cover story.

  • - 4 player co-op
  • - 16 player match multiplayer. Apparently the multiplayer wil be in the vein of Call of Duty 4 for upgrades and level ups.
  • - The city will decay and become increasingly dangerous as you progress through the story.
  • - New Agency helicopter and other vehicles. All old Agency vehicles returning.
  • -Vehicles like Trucks or Buses have room for a mounted turret, which makes them great for getting around in Co-Op.

Sounds like its going to be fun. The Game Informer issue should be mailing out and land on store shelves sometime this month.

Xbox 360 | August 27, 2009 11:37 am

With the recent official price drop of the Xbox 360 Elite and Pro models, Microsoft also hidden in the barrels of the press release regarding Twitter and Facebook. Apparently it seems that both applications will require a Gold Xbox Live Membership to run.

"Xbox LIVE Gold Membership will be required for Twitter and Facebook when they are available, and is required for Netflix. Games, media content and Netflix membership are sold separately; a hard drive is required for storage."

Although an update to that news post on Gamezine.co.uk has been updated to reflect that an MS spokeperson has confirmed that is not the case and the company is still forming their plans.
