Exclusively for the Playstation 3, and developed by NIS America, this new RPG will be released on Feburary 23rd, 2010 which is only a few weeks away.
It takes place in a world called Jonovald, which is governed by two gods: Meiktilia who presides over the death of all people and the destruction of all things, and Formival who presides over the birth of all people and the creation of all things. Meiktilia blesses two types of people with special powers; Blades and Sealers. Blades have the skills to destroy the physical structure of things, and Sealers use magical abilities to destroy the metaphysical, the spiritual structure of things. The two main characters are Nine who is a Blade, and Aisha who is a Sealer.
The new Firmware 3.10 update that we posted about yesterday which include Facebook integration is now available for download. To keep up with Microsoft it looks like Sony went ahead and released the update instead of waiting for the Thursday update of the Playstation Store Network.
Although it seems kind of odd that Facebook would be included in this update only because the PS3 already has a web browser built in so it doesn't make quite a lot of sense. However, with the Facebook app it seems Sony must want to make the social lives of gamers easier when it comes to their Playstation 3. As mentioned yesterday as well a couple of tweaks were added to this update that I'm sure you'll notice.
The Photo category on the XMB has been revamped to make it easier to see more of your photos stored on the PS3.
The PSN Friends List has been modified based on feedback we received after update 3.00. Additionally, you can now choose a color for your PSN ID on the XMB.
In it's latest update on the Playstation Blog, Sony has officially announced details for Facebook integration in the new Firmware 3.10 update for the Playstation 3. With Facebook integration you'll be able to link your Playstation Network account to your Facebook account and have it updated whenever Trophies or Store activity is happening. Now this is obviously in an effort to keep up with Microsoft and the Xbox 360. Their new update will add Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm. One wonders if Sony will be playing catch after this update. Other features the update will include are....

The release of the Playstation 3 version for Dragon Age: Origins was finally confirmed today during a live developer chat on the Playstation Blog. The game will officially be on store shelves on November 3rd and hit Europe a little later in the month it seems. The game will be sticking with its release the same day as the Xbox 360 and PC versions.
There was also a comment made about BioWare's curiosity in Playstation Home, however, Ray Muzyka from Bioware reiterated that they are "exploring it", but have no plans for an announcement yet.
If it wasn't for Batman: Arkham Asylum we probably wouldn't have seen the invention of challenge rooms hitting the scene for major game releases. But, because of Arkham Asylum, God of War 3 will use its downloadable content strategy on those challenge rooms. GamePro magazine managed to have a chat with Director Stig Asmussen.
"It would make a lot of sense to be able to download [challenge rooms]," said Asmussen to GamePro. "That's something we might see in the future."
So you can probably excect God of War 3 to be shipping with a few challenge rooms already in game and then expect to see more added later on.
