Some new screenshots for Champions Online, the suphero MMO have surfaced

Champions Online is all about total customization – it will offer a near infinite amount of character customization so that all players will have a unique game experience. Gamers will be able to create their hero’s name, back story, costume, powers and abilities as well as design their own personal arch-enemy and his or her back story, which will guarantee a truly unique experience.

If you've been following Section 8, then you know it's going to be one of the premiere releases of 2009. Sandbox Strateguies dropped by to let us know that the pre-order bonus has officially been revealed to be a Gamestop exclusive.

If you pre-order the game at Gamestop you'll recieve a code at launch to download the Captain's Armor as show above. The armor can be worn by both factions in the game, the Section 8 members and their adversaries, the Arm of Orion. With the captain of Section 8 to wear the Imperial Eagle on his shoulder, the Arm of Orion will be wearing a golden Lion Of Orion. The golden emblem is cast on their helmet and shoulder.

Monte Cristo Games has announced that the first beta test of Cities XL, their next-generation MMO city-builder, has come to an end. Monte Cristo is now accepting applications for the next of the beta which is to begin shortly.

The next phase of the beta will focus on stress-testing the network and the servers, along with giving newcomers a better taste of the MMO elements of the game. To accomplish this, Monte Cristo will open the beta up to several thousand players.

THQ and Vogster Entertainment have announced a new MMO titled CrimeCraft for PC. CrimeCraft is currently slated to ship August 2009 in North America and will be available exclusively at Best Buy stores and on www.bestbuy.com. Pre-orders will be accepted in stores on June 7th or online starting May 31.

Natural Selection 2, a standalone version of the popular Half-Life mod, is now available for pre order. Natural Selection 2 is currently under development by Unknown Worlds, which consists of four team members.

Tripwire Interactive, best known for Red Orchestra, has announced that their co-op survival/horror game Killing Floor is now available on Steam. It is currently priced at $19.99.

Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive's Free-to-Play MMO Dungeon Party has been released today. The release follows months of Beta testing and is available for download on any continent.

Dungeon Party is a free to play and places emphasis on team play. Players assume the role of a comical character of their own creation as they attempt to find valuable treasure and defeat monsters in various dungeons.

New screenshots have surfaced for South Peak Interactive's new third-person shooter, Section 8. To help you reaquaint yourselves with the game, here is a bit of info that might refresh that memory that you lucky PC gamers will get your hands on.

Section 8 is an intense first-person shooter that gives players unprecedented strategic control over the battlefield, employing tactical assets and on-demand vehicle deliveries to dynamically alter the flow of combat. Set at the crossroads of a growing insurrection among its colonies, Earth dispatches the elite 8th Armored Infantry to turn the tide. Utilizing advanced powered armor suits, these brave volunteers are the only ones crazy enough to smash through enemy defenses and drop directly into the battlefield from 15,000 feet, earning them the nickname “Section 8.”

The superhero MMOG, Champions Online has officially recieved its release date. The game will be shipping to stores for PC on July 14th, 2009.

While, the market may be saturated with more then enough WWII games, Sqaure-Enix has decided to jump into the full stream and make a break for it. The publisher is working in conjunction with Wargaming.net.

ORDER OF WAR will feature massive scale battles brought to life with a cinematic intensity never seen before in a WWII strategy game. Players will take command of an entire army including ground troops, artillery, tank divisions and aircraft in all out strategic assaults. The single-player mode can be played out in two campaigns – American versus German forces on the western front and German versus Russian on the eastern front – missions will be based on key historic events and operations from 1944.
