A user over at Blues News by the name of Irwin, also noticed some very striking similarities between Thief and Diablo 2 in Limbo of the Lost. It turns out that one of the environments found in Limbo of the Lost matches one found in Thief: Deadly Shawdows, which you can find here. The Limbo version can be found in this screenshot. According to the image links posted by him, the game also seems to take the artwork from a Diablo 2 shield called "The Wall of the Eyeless." You can find a link to that image here.
