The Conduit Hitting Wii Q1 2009
Posted June 11, 2008 by Jereme Puik

Coming in Q1 2009, High Voltage Software has announced a new original IP for the Nintendo Wii.  This first person shooter looks to break the mold in the line of third party titles that just haven't cut it thus far on the Wii's line up. Although you will have to use friend codes once again, The Conduit will feature online mulitiplayer along with what is being toted as a "competitive single player campaign".  High Voltage Software seems keen on bringing gamers the one serious title we've all been hoping for. Let's hope they give that depth.

Using their proprietary Quantum 3 Game Engine technology, the team at High Voltage Software is fusing fast and fluid gameplay with an advanced set of visuals intended to squarely establish the Wii as a true next-generation gaming platform. The first-person shooter boasts a competitive online multiplayer component and a thrilling single-player campaign. Advanced graphical features include dynamic environment mapping, interactive water with real-time reflection, and four-stage texture composition including gloss, diffuse, and bump mapping.
