The Month of September in Review
Posted December 31, 1969 by Brian Becker
September has come and gone, and with it came a ton of new games to start off the biggest season for the gaming industry, and gamers as well.
Hugely anticipated titles such as The Sims 2, Fable, Rome: Total War, Star Wars Battlefront, Burnout 3: Takedown, Silent Hill 4, and dozens of others finally reached store shelves this past month with much success. It only gets bigger and better from here on out though. October has a few huge games up its sleeve as well, as do November and December. Just to name a few for this month, GTA: San Andreas, Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door, and Mortal Kombat: Deception are set to be released this month.

As far as GamePlasma goes, September was our best month to date in terms of content. We had fourteen articles total, as well as dozens more news articles than we have had in previous months, even beating out some of our competitors in quantity and time posted. Thats right, we here at GamePlasma bring you more news, quicker than places like GameSpy. Expect this trend to continue as we expand our employee base with new writers.

Furthermore, as a sort of preview to our upcomming FilePlasma site, we have begun providing free downloads with no lines whatsoever in the past month. We have provided several movies and trailers such as this one for Call of Duty: Finest Hour, another for Outlaw Golf 2, and a few more. Also, after finally getting over 150 reviews on the site, we have been added to GameRankings' database and you can now find links to all of our reviews and previews there.

We reviewed nine games this month, including Rome: Total War, which earned one of our highest scores in quite a while, Phantom Brave, Burnout 3: Takedown, Street Racing Syndicate, Fable, Call of Duty: United Offensive, as well as a couple others.

This month we also had the most previews for one month that we have had since our conception. We started off the month with a preview of Rome: Total War, followed by GTA: San Andreas, Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, and finally we took a look at Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth.

If you haven?t been keeping up with us this past month, make sure to check out all of those articles, and be sure to keep supporting us by visiting the site, posting on the forums, and telling your friends to visit.
