The Month of July in Review
Posted December 31, 1969 by Brian Becker
July was a big month for the gaming industry this year.
Id Software?s highly anticipated and graphically stunning Doom 3 finally, after four years of development, went gold and is set to be released in only a few days. Similarly, Valve?s Half Life 2 has been reported to be in the last two weeks of development to be released this fall.

July was also a very big month for GamePlasma. This month we had 11 new reviews for games such as Blitzkrieg: Burning Horizon, MISSING: Since January, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, Aura: Fate of the Ages, Spartan: Gates of Troy, and many more. Be sure to check them out if you haven?t already.

We had a hands on preview of World of Warcraft this month as well, and we also had two Interviews. One with Slitherine Strategies' Philip Veale about their Spartan expansion, Gates of Troy, and the other with Stormregion's Codename: Panzers Dev Team about, you guessed it, Codename: Panzers. In addition, we recently opened up a brand new Warcraft III forum on ForumPlasma by popular demand. Be sure to stop by and hang out with the Warcraft crew.

What should you expect in the future?

As you know GamePlasma is always growing, and August is going to be a huge month for us. GamePlasma 2.0 is nearing completion and should be ready to launch this August. Wait till you see it, it looks amazing. Alongside that will be the launch of Final Fantasy Galaxy which will cover all Final Fantasy games, past, present, and future. We also have a few other projects in development that we are very excited about, and remember to keep visiting GamePlasma for the latest news, reviews, previews, and screenshots for your favorite games!
