Since June 16th 2003, we have written a total of 159 articles (Reviews,
Previews, Editorials), composed a total of 1,011 news articles, and
added 3,081 screenshots to our database of 433 games. Let me tell ya
something, adding those games to the database, and making sure they
have screenshots takes a lot more time than you might think ;-) Despite
being a website devoted to them, its not all fun and games, but we enjoy what we do, and are happy to provide the service for our readers.
Furthermore, we have opened three other sites in our network,
Half-Life Galaxy,
Diablo2.com, and the recently acquired
Call of Duty Galaxy.
That?s not all though; there are plenty of sites on the way. Final
Fantasy Galaxy will be opening this summer, Age of Mythology Galaxy is
set to open soon after that, and Medal Of Honor Galaxy will be finished
before we hit the two-year mark. Again, that?s not all. Also opening
this summer will be FilePlasma.com. FP will be the ultimate resource
for all of your game related downloads in the future. We are all very
excited about it.
The forums have also never been more active. When we first started one year ago,
ForumPlasma only
had a general forum, a Diablo 2 forum, and an Age of Empires 2 forum.
Since then we have expanded to include sections for Call of Duty, Medal
of Honor, Final Fantasy, Half-Life, World of Warcraft, Age of Empires,
and even the official forums for Whiptail Interactive?s Gangland. There
are also plenty of new forums to be added this year. With over 5,000
registered members contributing almost 100,000 posts (at the time I am
writing this the total is 99,951), we are extremely happy with
ForumPlasma?s success so far.
Despite a few bits of drama within the network, many changes
in staff, and a possible legal fiasco, we have made it this far, and we
don?t intend to slow down any time soon. We have big plans for the
network, and we hope you all will continue to support us for another
year. Wait, no,
many years! We would be nowhere without the support of our readers, and we thank you for that.
