Capcom announced today that their latest Monster Hunter title, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, will be one of the first playable titles for the PlayStation Portable that will feature the new "adhocParty" system that launched today. Future updates are planned to bring the adhocParty to more Capcom titles online.

Monster Hunters that own a PSP and a Playstation 3 will be able to connect the two systems using the adhocParty for the PSP system. Utilizing the Playstation 3's wireless networking and online connection, the adhocParty for the PSP creates a gateway that will allow Monster Hunter Freedom Unit players to find each other online and adventure together in groups of four.

The adhocParty for the PSP is free of chrage from the Playstation Store and supports voice chat through the wireless headset.
