March in Review
Posted December 31, 1969 by Scott Parrino
As March Madness ends, so begins the journey towards E3.
March has come and gone, and with it the horrible weather that I’m used to. Last week we had nearly six inches of snow. Just a few days ago we had a downpour of rain. I saw this with no surprise because this is Illinois; you’re bound to see some weird weather.
This month I got the chance to fly out to GamePlasma’s home office in Richmond, Virginia and meet my staff. I had a wonderful time exploring the office, discussing the future with Tim Bradshaw and of course planning this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3 for those who prefer to live under a rock and play video games.

Yes, E3 is upon us. In a little over a month gaming journalists, developers, publishers and all other forms of gaming life will fly to Los Angeles, California and basically turn the convention center into heaven for a few days. As expected, GamePlasma will be traveling there once again to keep our readers informed and entertained with what will be coming to the gaming world in the coming future.

On to my next topic, I am sure everyone who has been exploring the site is noticing small changes here and there. Do not be alarmed, do not evacuate, do not hide under your desk; it is just leading up to GamePlasma 2.0. Yes, it is that close that you can taste it (if it had any taste that is). For the time being, bear with us as we keep making these changes.

I am fully aware that tomorrow is April 1st, which means there will be some April Foolin’ around. I just want to say, be careful, yet funny. There is nothing more disappointing than a prank that isn’t funny, let alone unsafe. For example, don’t trade your roommate’s Xbox 360 for a Nintendo 64 or sell all of his World of Warcraft stuff for insanely discounted prices. Stick to pranks that are classics and genuinely funny, like giving him a fake lottery ticket or an Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion case with a Spice Girls CD in it. Pranks like that will make your target laugh and possibly point at you with a grin and say, "You rascal you!"

So now it is time to buy a bunch of crickets or see if the local store has any Xbox 360s for sale (a favorite hobby of mine). In the meantime, be sure to keep coming back to GamePlasma for new content such as weekly features and more previews!
