Rock Band Unplugged Detailed
Posted April 8, 2009 by Jereme Puik
With little details spreading here and there about a portable Rock Band title, Harmonix and MTV Games recently spilled the beans on the exclusive title for the PSP. A handheld iteration of the successful rythm game has officially been unplugged and EA has supplied us with the details. The game will be co-developed with Harmonix and Backbone Entertainment as the game will be releasing simultaneously in Europe and North America on June 9th. This is an exclusive for the PSP and will retail for a price of $39.99 in North America.
You will be taking the reigns of the full band experience with the help of your fingertips. Taking obvious inspiration from Rock Band and Rock Band 2, Unplugged will contain the full Rock Band experience including warm-ups, World Tour, Band Survival along with full character customization. With over 40 master recordings which will include 9 brand new songs for a limited time. The game will also be taking advantage of it's wireless capabilities by providing an in-game store where you'll be able to download new tracks and having an option to do the same on the Playstation Store on your PC. Here is a list of those 9 exclusive tracks...
