Call of Duty 4 scoops 3 gongs at the Video Game BAFTA Awards

Last night was the Video Game BAFTA Award ceremony in London. The biggest winner wasn't much of a surprise as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare scooped three awards including the GAME Award of 2008, the only award voted for by the public, and the Gameplay Award. It also beat off extremely stiff competition from Fable II, Fallout 3, Mass Effect, GTA IV and Assassin's Creed to scoop the Story and Character Award.
The other big winner of the evening was Dead Space which won two awards for Original Score and Use of Audio. Super Mario Galaxy got away with the Best Game of 2008 Award.
