Rockstar is no stranger to big first-day releases and the latest expansion, "The Lost and Damned" for Grand Theft Auto 4, continues that trend in breaking a record on Xbox LIVE. The record? Highest first-day revenue for downloaded content that all others on Xbox LIVE.

It is no surprise that Rockstar's "The Lost and Damned" breaks this record, the expansion being both critically-acclaimed and well-recieved by gamers. The expansion brings more than ten hours of gameplay, new characters, weapons and vehicles to the GTA4 setting.

“The success of ‘Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned’ redefines what consumers expect from Game Add-ons,” said Marc Whitten, general manager of Xbox LIVE. “Content like this is extending the lives of our favorite games and fundamentally changing the way we play.”

"The Lost and Damned" is available for download on Xbox LIVE for 1600 MS Points and requires a full version of GTA4 for the Xbox 360.
