Aspyr Media and 1C Company have announced that the single player demo for Necrovision is available for download. Necrovision is a first person shooter set during World War I and "takes players into the bowels of Hell itself."

The demo has players battling their way through the German Lines. As an Allied soldier, yo uwill have access to the Colt 1911 and Lee Enfield or select from the German Luger and Gewehr rifles one they have been taken from the battle field. There are also bayonets, heavy machine-guns, trench guns and even a shovel to dispatch the Germans with.

You can find more info on the game and a download link after the jump.

From the press release:

Skipping past the story's tongue-in-cheek twists, players are abandoned in the midst of an underworld war that has gone on for centuries.  Demons battle the Undead in a never ending conflict paralleling the war above the soil. As players plough through the hordes of the seven pits they will be using special Vampiric versions of familiar weapons such as SMGs and shotguns, as well as their secret weapon
The Shadowhand.

NecroVisioN is a fast-paced shooter which will be exclusively released for PC this spring by Aspyr Media, under the 1C Company label. Developed by Polish developer The Farm 51, it mixes historical accuracy with a twisted plot and an alternate reality that sees gamers venturing into the very jaws of Hell itself to stop a zombie army and an evil demon overlord.  Created by several of the original members of the PainKiller Team, NecroVisioN throws non-stop hordes of enemies at the player but gives them powerful weapons to fight off the invasion and save the world.
