Although Paramount Pictures hasn't quite let the skinny out of the bag yet, Sega has already jumped on the opportunity to announce Iron Man 2: The Video Game. Sega believes it has taken up on this opportunity to begin work on the second Iron Man game which will coincide with the release of the official movie which will more then likely release sometime in 2010. Hoepfully this will give Sega a chance to refine its flight controls that made the original Iron Man a mess. Here's what Sega had to say about the multiplatform title...
“We are thrilled to build on the success of the Iron Man phenomenon and work with Marvel and Paramount on another epic project,” says Simon Jeffery, President of SEGA of America, Inc. “SEGA and Marvel are collaborating closely to ensure we deliver an authentic Iron Man experience.”
The game is currently in production at SEGA Studios San Francisco. SEGA has continued to refine its game engine so that players can expect an entirely new and enhanced gameplay experience. Stay tuned for more information about Iron Man 2, the video game.
