Atari has announced today that Ghostbusters, the much anticipated "spirited 3rd film" has officially been given a release date. The game will officially hit stores in June 2009.

Some may remember that Ghostbusters was left in limbo officially on November 7th, after being let go from Vivendi Games and Atari taking the title under its wing.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game will be releasing for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, DS, PS2 and PC platforms.
