1.7 Billion dollars. That's how much the industry earned in total sales across the board. Quite impressive for one month. In terms of sales from a year-to-date totals $497.98 million (down nine percent) in hardware and for software, $619.09 million (down six percent). This is all of course probably due to the recent price drop and new SKU of the Xbox 360 (60GB HDD and drop of Arcade bundle price).

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed took over the sales charts in September, use the force choke on first place and in several spots across the board. Does Wii Play ever die? The software is still sitting in the top 10 which is quite surprising to say the least.
