Finally, More Than One Fable 3 Screenshot
Xbox 360 | March 12, 2010 8:16 am

Peter Moleyneux held his press conference and revealed some rather interesting details about the upcoming Fable 3. Here's is a bit of a talk Moleyneux had during the Game Developers Conference this week. Via Destructoid.

Molyneux wanted to make Fable III's story is much clearer, and more different, than the narratives from the first two games. The team could have retread the same narrative ground and made another Hero's Journey where you start weak, then get really strong, and then kill a baddie at the end, but Molyneux asked: "what if we made that hero's journey the halfway point in our game? What if we constructed this story where you started as a hero without any power at all, and what if there was this evil terrible tyrant king, and what if you went out as a rebel, took forces and took on and overthrew that tyrant king, and then you became that king yourself? Would that be a unique and original story if that was a halfway point? The answer was yes."

Nintendo Only "Thinking" of Kid Icarus for Wii
Nintendo Wii | March 11, 2010 4:17 pm

At the Game Developers Conference, something overheard at the show floor was a glimer of hope that Kid Icarus might be making the jump to the Wii. You can still purchase the original game on the Virtual Console for now.

"If we can find some sort of way to bring it to the Wii, a way to make the game for the Wii that makes sense, we would happily do so," he said. "But just keep in mind it may not be me making the game."

Earlier today it was one of the games creator, Yoshio Sakamoto, that spoke with Kotaku. Real excitement could be had here and a boost in sales as well if Nintendo found some way to bring the favored character into the next generation. We'll just have to wait and see.
