Gamers looking to max out the settings when Alone in the Dark hits store shelves next week, will want to know these little tibits of information. Atari has just released the security specs and system requirements for Alone in the Dark. Alone in the Dark's security is protected using, SecuROM™ activation.
The PC version of Alone in the Dark is protected using SecuROM™ online activation. This requires that in addition to the content on the game disk, players download an additional component via an internet connection in order to install and run the game. Once the game has been correctly installed and activated, it can be played whilst offline.
With more then one million matches in Legends of Norrat, Sony Online Entertainment has announced Oathbreaker. Oathbreaker is an expansion to the Legends of Norrat story arc and will give players a chance to wrap up the storyline. With new gameplay additions and additional content, Oathbreaker should give players will be given new challenges to explore and conquer.
"In just over nine months since launch, Legends of Norrath has had more than one million matches,” said Scott Martins, director of development, SOE Denver. “And, with the introduction of Oathbreaker, many more matches are on the horizon. There are more ways than ever to enhance your strategies, explore different decks and try out new combos. We're eager to introduce the new raid and open up cooperative play. And, with the Monthly Sprint Tournaments that started in early June, there are more opportunities for players to climb the rankings and earn special promo cards and free loot.”

NDOORS has announced a new online game called Atlantica Online. Players will develop mercenaries, plan the moves of members in their party and manage entire cities/contries. There is even the ability to form guilds that will be able to take over cities or entire countries.

Valave has announced that there will be a slew of new updates for Team Fortress 2. The first update will be made to the Pyro who will get three new unlockable weapons, 35 new achievements, and two user-created maps. After the Pyro update, players can expect to see a new "Meet the Team" video short detailing the Sniper on June 17th at 11AM PDT. After the release of this video, Valve will be allowing gamers to play Team Fortress 2 for free via Steam all weekend. The free weekend starts Friday at 11am PDT.
