|
|
March 6, 2010 by Jereme Puik |
Nintendo DS |
|

The newest issue of Nintendo Power Magazine was uncovered by GoNintendo today and revealed that Scribblenauts 2 will be announced and will be coming to store shelves this Fall. Here are some bullet point details.
- -10,000 more words
- -120 new and improved levels
- -adjectives play a big role
- -improved controls
- -fleshed out level editor
- -par system removed
- -more merits
- -new hint system
- -coming this fall
The first game sold over a million units last Fall, which isn't surprising considering how quickly the DS audience took to the game by storm. Will we hear more details when PAX East arrives later this month? Or will we have to wait until E3? Only time will tell and I'm sure we'll be seeing a press releasing from 5th Cell popping up next week. Gotta love the internet, huh?

In what I am now labeling Press Release of the Year, Valve has announced that Portal 2 will be shipping this coming holiday season. Portal 2, which will be a stand alone sequel will supposedly retail for $49.99 with pre-orders shipping on October 26, 2010 from GameStop. In addition, GameInformer has revealed that their April 2010 magazine will have a 12 page cover story spread that will contain additional details on the sequel to the 2007 Portal that was included as part of Valve's Orange Box release. We can all only hope that the cake is not a lie this time.
For more information on the GameInformer cover you can head to http://gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/03/05/april-cover-revealed.aspx.
Valve will also release additional details at www.steamgames.com in the future.
